Stage the City… What's next in the Meadows?

After the success of our pilot group, Meadows Musical Theatre Group at AMC Gardens, Stage the City will grow to work with three Community groups in the Meadows, working towards a larger local Meadows community performance at the Meadows Embankment Bandstand in Autumn 2026!

In 2027, community groups across the project from Meadows, Bulwell and Sneinton will come together to create Nottingham’s largest community performance in 20 years in Old Market Square, telling the story of our city and celebrating what makes Notts, Notts.

It’s really important to us that local voices are heard as part of this project so that we are telling the stories that matter to the people that matter.

Could you be a Community Champion?

Are you passionate about your local area and want to make sure your community’s voice is heard as part of Stage the City? We’re looking for Community Champions to join our steering group meetings as local representatives. You’ll help shape ideas, strengthen connections, and support the long-term sustainability of creative groups in Bulwell, Sneinton, and The Meadows.
