Acqua Alta
2013 - 2015

What do you do when Noah leaves you to drown?

Acqua Alta, our very first show, was foreboding tale of life, death and desperation, through a surreal reimagining of Noah's Ark in aworld where safety is but a privilege for the few and survival is merely a game of chance.

Drugged, captured and left without food or water in a chamber that appears to becoming increasingly damp,The Unicorns (the fallen stars of Noah's luxury cruise liners) discover that all is not as it seems as they attempt to comprehend the reality of their imminent death.

As friendships and trusts unfold through a world of glitter, marshmallows and cheap disco; reality, truth, liesand delusion blur to leave the six Unicorns no longer fighting together against their captor, but in a bitter anddestructive conflict against each other. Confused and scared they become transfixed on the singular questionthat now defines their existence: What do you do when Noah leaves you to drown?
