The Senior Producer will work as part of the Nonsuch Studios team, with a leadership role of Nonsuch’s delivery of Ashfield Creates. The role is responsible to the Artistic Director & CEO, working closely alongside the Executive Director. The role will play a critical role in driving forward our delivery of Ashfield Creates, our largest community programme to date, leading on developing innovative and meaningful creative programming in line with funded planning outline, key areas of stakeholder management, project planning and delivery and management of the wider delivery team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To senior produce the Ashfield Creates programme and to continue development of an innovative, bold and authentic creative programme that centres bringing opportunities for creative engagement, experience and spectacle to Ashfield District and meets the key objectives of the Arts Council England funding for Ashfield Creates. 
  • Work closely at all stages of planning with a broad range of stakeholders, from Commissioning lead Ashfield District Council to community organisations, leaders and artists working across the region. 
  • Manage, inspire and support the Ashfield Creates team to deliver exceptional projects and programmes, managing the work of the Local Engagement Producers, supported by the Senior Management Team. 
  • To collaborate with the Senior Management Team in key strategic thinking across all of Nonsuch’s programmes - sharing learning, bringing vision and sector knowledge to support our long-term development and growth. 
  • Manage key Ashfield Creates programme budgets
  • To work with the Executive Director to ensure that the Monitoring and Evaluation strategy for Ashfield Creates is maintained and reporting completed as needed.

KEY INFORMATION

Job Title: Senior Producer 

Reports to: Artistic Director & CEO

Salary: £33,000 (£26,400 pro-rata)

Place of Work: Nonsuch Studios’ Offices in Nottingham City Centre & Kirkby in Ashfield and across engagement locations in Ashfield District and Nottinghamshire.

Working Hours: 4 days per week (30hours)

Contract Type: This is an employed role fixed term contract to the end of March 2027 with the view to extend subject to funding.
