Nonsuch Studios are looking for a hands-on and motivated leader who wants to get stuck-in implementing the next phase of our growing operations.

The Programme and Operations Manager will work as part of the management team at Nonsuch Studios and will be responsible to the Executive Director, Artistic Director & CEO, and the Board of Trustees. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of Nonsuch Studios' projects and programmes, particularly Ashfield Creates, our largest community programme to date, and the ongoing development of Nonsuch Studios' core creative and production activities. The post holder will provide leadership and support to project teams, ensuring operational excellence across the organisation.

This full-time role will be split approximately 60% on programme and project management and 40% on operational leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational planning, delivery, and evaluation of Nonsuch Studios' productions, programmes and projects, ensuring they meet objectives, deadlines, and budget requirements.
  • Manage, inspire, and support The Nonsuch Studios teams, providing clear direction, fostering collaboration, and promoting a positive working environment.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Nonsuch Studios, including HR, scheduling, financial management, and administrative systems.
  • Work closely with the Artistic Director & CEO and Executive Director to contribute to the strategic development and growth of the organisation.

  • Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Salary: £33,500 PA
  • Contract: This is an employed role with a fixed term contract until 31st March 2027 with the potential to extend or become permanent subject to funding success.
