Studio 1
Studio One is the pride and joy of Nonsuch Studios, a blank canvas for the creatives of Nottingham. The largest of our studios, it’s a light and open space and its large, dual aspect windows give it an airy and fresh feel. With its sprung beechwood floor and white walls, it is a neutral space that is fully adaptable to your needs. Whether you’re looking for a space to rehearse, run a class, or hold an exhibition or workshop, Studio One has you covered. The space is fully accessible with soundproofing throughout so you can be as noisy or as quiet as you like without disturbances.
Studio 2
Studio Two is our live performance space but is adaptable enough to be transformed to whatever best suits your needs. Despite its size, Studio Two’s black walls and thick curtains make it an intimate space perfect for performances of any kind, or a setting to create whatever wonderful creation you can imagine. This space is great for filming or themed events. This fully accessible room is beautifully designed to absorb sound so that even those in the back row can hear the slightest whisper from the stage.
Studio 3
A deceptively large space, Studio Three is the first of our upper floor spaces. Surrounded on two sides by large windows, this is a wonderful space for anything from smaller scale talks, lectures and meet ings, to physical classes or activities. The acoustics also make it perfectly suited for recitals, choir practices and any number of other musical escapades. This room leads directly onto Studios Four and Five which can be booked in tandem for larger bookings/events for an additional fee (subject to availability).
Studio 4
A similar size to Studio Three, Studio Four is a clear, fresh multipurpose room that also benefits from two walls of windows, making the room bright, airy, and filled with natural light. The space lends itself particularly well to photography and video shoots and has an incredibly tranquil, yet energising atmosphere, great for yoga or meditation classes. With access through Studio Three, this space also leads onto Studio Five which can be booked in tandem for larger bookings/events for an additional fee (subject to availability).
Studio 5
A self contained recreation area on our upper floor complete with kitchenette, laundry facilities, seating and separate toilet. This room can be booked in tandem for use as storage or a green room during a performance or event (depending on availability).
Studio 6
Our dedicated meeting room is situated on our upper floor alongside our co-working space and kitchenette. Studio Six comes complete with a presentation screen, whiteboard, flipchart and the latest meeting technology in the form of Bertie, our meeting owl, with a premium 360-degree camera, mic, and speaker combined into one easy-to-use device. It creates the experience of in-person participation for hybrid teams and integrates seamlessly with the conferencing platforms you already use (Zoom, Google Hangouts, Slack, GoToMeeting, and more).
